ホステルで面白そうなツアーのはがきを見つけて行ってみました！
実は前の日にいろいろあってホステルから離れた所に行きたかったのもあるが。。苦笑;

便宜上あまり大写しにはしないでおきます。
裸になっている人形は卑猥な意味ではなくて、性の主張による所であるといいます。

A woman's building. It is Mission area, so mostly care for Latino women, but they welcome all ethnic all religion of women so the painting states different goodness.
いわゆる「女性会館」ミッション地区ということで、ラテン系女性のサポートが主だが、いかなる人種、いかなる宗教の女性も受け入れるということで、いろんな宗教の女神が描かれているということだ。

かわいいし、いつも表現豊かに話すので、俳優にもなれるのでは？、と思いながら見ていました。毎日やっているとはいえ、よくこれだけ覚えられるなあ、と思う位いろいろな説明をしていました。

One of the community garden in the city. There are several and I think it is boom to have the community gardens in San Francisco. When I was there 5 years ago, I did not realize it.
最近共同の畑が流行っているみたい。５年前にはありませんでした。物価の高騰で古いビルが壊されていることもあることと、エコブームで空いた土地を共同の畑にしているところが増えているようだ。

| I was so surprised by the fact that Mission district is the most popular and the most expensive place now in San Francisco. But it was used to be not safe and low income place before. And what a heck! this is a new condo on Mission street!! Very innovative! ミッション地区はサンフランシスコの中でも低所得者が多く、あまり治安がよくない地域とされていたが、今回行ったら街一番有名で、物価が高い地域に変わっていて、えらくびっくりしている。以前はバレンシアストリートだけが白人の通りだったが、これは今ミッションストリートで建築中のコンドミニアム！窓がかっこよすぎ！まだ建築中だったが、すでにテナント募集していました。 vida sf.com |
滞在中この日以来ミッション地区には行ってなかったので、またサンフランシスコに行く機会があればまた行ってみたいです。またどんどん変化している気がします。
