Clarion Alley Mural SF Nov 10th クラリオン路地の壁画

I kept walking on Valencia street at Mission district, I found the mural after passed 17th street. There are some tourists walking in there. I remembered that I was looking for this mural street but I found it coincidentally so I went in the alley. I used to go with the Precita Eyes mural tour before, but there are more new works from before, covering up with the old ones.
There were two white guys paintings on site right at the moment talking with one guy with the street cleaning uniform who looks like a drunk. I asked them if they are the one who are in charge of this project and they said yes. I asked them if this project has something to do with Precita Eyes but the guy with the black Tshirts and black jeans said, no nothing to do with Precita Eyes, but they helped me out before. I said, I see... They said they planned with the drawing first and then added on the wall.
Then I kept walking and I saw some art prints, and postcard lining up at somebody's garage, and some couple went inside so I went in too. There were another two guys talking inside the garage. And inside the garage there were more and more of art works with prints in the wagons and on the walls. I asked them who did, and the man who was sitting at the back said, mine. I asked him is it your garage? And he said yes. We were talking about rent price. And he said that right now Mission is the highest rent in the entire San Francisco. It is $2000 a month! I was shocked and said, really!! Mission is not the cheap rent place anymore.... But he said he is under rent control so he would be able to pay the old price rent. I said you are lucky. I told him you have a studio at the nice place, tourist passing every day. And they smile and he said, yes I am.
This street art is like you can speak out what ever you want to, but cannot say out loud. I think it is a nice project.
